Passover is one of the most important Biblical Feasts of the year. It is a time to remember what God did in liberating the Jewish people – affirming, consecrating, and preserving them as His own people; through the retelling of the story of Passover and of God’s rescue of His people from slavery in Egypt. But for Messianic Jews, it is also a time of remembering this holy day in The Messiah Yeshua’s death and resurrection, of which through whom all who receive Him find salvation, redemption and everlasting life.
It is a celebration of God’s mercy and grace upon us all, in which we identify the symbolism and recognize the many ways in which Passover points to Yeshua the Messiah.
1 Corinthians 5:7
Get rid of the old yeast, so that you may be a new unleavened batch – as you really are. For the Messiah, our Passover lamb, has been sacrificed.
